Senior Architect / Technical Lead - Hamburg

Within this role there is a lot of variety for you and exposure to the latest technologies. You will be apart of the Scrum team that takes care of the development and operation of streaming applications for some of Europeans leading broadcasting business.

Your job : Driving forward the development and technical implementation of small and big screen applications, both with a strategic view of future needs and the use of relevant frameworks and possible technologies.

Within the agile team of developers, QA, PO and UX / UI designers, you will drive the implementation of technical feasibility.

As a solution architect with experience, you define the solution design and determine the use of the appropriate technology and framework.

In coordination with the team and customers, you record, analyze, evaluate and define the technical requirements, derive the tasks from them and coordinate their implementation within the development team.

You keep an overview of both the technical requirements and the technical feasibility, because your experience as a software engineer means you can check the code, and act as a sparring partner for other development teams.

In short, you ensure that the product promise is ultimately kept and technically implemented.

This works best if you complete your tasks responsibly, purposefully, conscientiously and precisely and enjoy doing it. Ideally, you have experience as a software developer, but you no longer want to "just" code, but also want to get involved in design and take on the content-related and coordinating tasks of a technical lead.

What will you deal with :

• Reviewing customer requirements for various Smart TV applications and clarifying the resulting technical requirements and implementation
• Establishment and further development of quality and excellence throughout the entire product cycle by defining the appropriate technology and the appropriate framework - including their structuring and review at the end of the implementation and at the end
• Coordination and prioritization of technical tasks within the development team / final check of the code
• Coordination with our development teams as an expert for solution design / enriching and inspiring our developer community with your expertise

This is what you bring with you

• Min. 3 to 5 years of experience as a senior software engineer in the area of solution design and / or technical project management
• Knowledge of agile software development as well as enthusiasm and passion for innovative technologies, current web developments and functional UI design
• In addition to front and backend development, you are also no stranger to topics relating to the operation and cloud infrastructure of heavily used applications
• Solution-oriented, self-initiative and structured work
• Good communication skills in German and English
