POSITION OVERVIEW :
As an Executive Support Engineer specializing in AV-VC systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration for our executive team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Executive Support Engineering team throughout the day, addressing assigned calls, day-to-day operations, scheduling, and troubleshooting any video conferencing-related issues.
- Take ownership of the maintenance and troubleshooting of executive conference rooms' AV-VC systems, ensuring optimal functionality, and addressing issues promptly.
- Provide white-glove technical support for video conferencing, offering real-time assistance to executives during calls.
- Open, track, and resolve tasks efficiently, including Make / Add / Changes requests, and manage Break / Fix and RMA requests.
- Monitor video conferencing calls on end-user event sites, perform equipment swaps in executive conference rooms as needed, and conduct inspections twice daily.
- Install and maintain VC room hardware, swiftly replacing and installing key hardware components to minimize downtime.
- Contribute to developing the AV-VC Small Group Support process (Run Book) and work towards continuous improvement.
- Provide immediate response and support to the Executive Engineering team during working hours, ensuring their technical needs are met promptly.
- Fully manage any collaboration hardware deployment requests from the executive team, from request inception to signed-off delivery.
- Collaborate with vendors, Logistics, and cross-functional teams to replace and recommission gear, ensuring a seamless supply chain.
- Manage Executive Support equipment and peripherals stock, collaborate with Logistics to reorder and fulfil additional equipment and supplies based on stock levels.
- Occasionally engage with executives and executive admins to answer questions and suggest video conferencing solutions, ensuring a positive user experience.
- Maintain close alignment with the AV-VC team to ensure adherence to all environment standards, staying current with the latest technologies and best practices.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :
- Proven experience in AV-VC systems maintenance and executive support.
- Strong technical background with expertise in troubleshooting and resolving video conferencing issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with executives and cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and task management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Possess a full working knowledge of all call flows and demonstrate in-depth troubleshooting skills, including packet capture, hardware logs collection, firmware updates, and streamshark packet analysis.
