Technical Support Specialist
Position Overview :
This is a vacancy for a hybrid / on-site role at our HQ in Tutzing. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender identity.
As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist (m / f / x) to join our Application Support team that is enabling seamless connections between customer databases & systems and the Lobster's Data Platform.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in addressing complex technical issues and improving customer retention and product reliability.

You’ll get to take ownership of :
- Helping to establish connections between customer databases, web services and systems like SAP, EDI and Lobster Data Platform
- Analysing and diagnosing the reliability of connections between systems by reviewing log files using Postman or Wireshark
- Engaging directly with customers to explain incidents around integrations, database connections, and communication protocols
- Troubleshooting and leading the resolution of incidents around AS2 and HTTP protocols, ensuring quick and effective recovery
- Creating and updating technical documentation, such as internal knowledge base and troubleshooting guides
We’d love to meet someone with :
- Solid technical background with at least 2 years of experience resolving technical issues
- Good knowledge of web services communication models and protocols, such as HTTP, AS2 and related certificates
- Knowledge of one or a few DBs from the list : PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, DB2
- Interest in encryption technologies, digital certificates and implementing signature processes for authentication and data integrity is appreciated
- German speaking and writing skills at a C1 level and sufficient English level are highly welcomed.
