Principal Product Manager, Engagement & Retention (f/m/x)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role

As a Principal Product Manager in our Engagement Alliance, you will be responsible for improving our customers’ ordering experience across our iOS, Android and Web products, helping them make the most of their Hellofresh subscription to meet their individual needs.

You’ll do that by developing a deep, data-driven understanding of our customers’ problems and motivations and creating personalised, easy-to-use, engaging digital experiences.

You’ll influence some of the most visited pages on our digital products, such as the home page, with millions of weekly visits from customers around the globe planning their upcoming Hellofresh boxes.

Through that, your job is to improve engagement with our digital experience and long-term retention for our biggest brands.

You will be an individual contributor who will define the long-term vision, set data-driven roadmaps to get there and own the technical delivery of new features.

In this strategic role, you’ll collaborate closely with your cross-functional team, commercial stakeholders and senior leadership to drive the right investments in the next few years.

What you’ll do

• Articulate a long-term vision for customer ordering journeys to drive retention and loyalty.
• Define, plan, and deliver user-centric strategies that have the potential to generate measurable impact for our business.
• Own a multi-year roadmap to deliver against your strategies and vision.
• Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team of Engineers, Product Designers, Researchers, Product Analysts, and senior business stakeholders.
• Relentlessly prioritise your roadmap to deliver results, balancing the short and long-term needs of customers and business.
• Set up processes to work with an agile team and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior colleagues and help raise the bar for the product management craft at Hellofresh.
• Be part of the Engagement alliance leadership team and shape our company's overall product & strategic direction.

What you’ll bring

Consumer-facing product experience : Proven track record of delivering high-impact products and features across iOS / Android / Web platforms from concept to launch, focused on increasing customer engagement and retention.

You are experienced in iterating fast and adopting a rapid experimentation approach.

Data-driven : A strong data sense for interpreting trends and translating them into insights for data-driven decision-making.

• Strategic Thinking : Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, translating market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning into actionable product plans.
• Collaboration and Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and inspiring cross-functional teams to achieve product goals.
• Leadership and Team Management : experience in leading and developing high-performing product teams is a plus, but not mandatory.
