Novum Executive : Director of Road Freight
Novum Executive is currently representing a multinational logistics company specializing in global automotive solutions for supply chain management.
Responsibilities :
- Leading a team of Business Development Managers, providing direction and promoting collaboration.
- Initiating sales activities, focusing on European road transport.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive plan in the Automotive vertical for new opportunities.
- Generating effective leads and opportunities to grow existing network and book of business.
- Meeting and exceeding financial growth targets whilst expanding the client's service portfolio.
- Coordinating RFQs for new business opportunities and renewals of existing business with assigned customers.
- Fostering close cooperation between Account Management, Operations, Operational Excellence, IT, HR and Finance.
- Maintaining an understanding of customers’ expectations relative to operational solutions, costs, and results.
Experience :
5+ years experience within the Transportation, Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry. Experience in leading and managing a team.
Existing book of business in Automotive Road Freight sales. Flexibility to travel frequently. Fluent in English (any additional languages are a bonus).
