The successful candidate will be an active member of the -CNS Lipidmetabolism in health and disease- group headed by PD Dr.
D. Fitzner at the Department of Neurology. The main research focus of our group is the investigation CNS Lipid metabolism in the homeostatic state but as well with respect to neurological diseases involving neuroinflammatory processes.

- designing and conducting of experiments
- data analysis, interpretation and presentation
- co-supervision of undergraduates, research assistants and interns
- participation in preparing scientific publications
Your qualifications
Your qualifications
- master's degree (or equivalent) in biology, biochemistry, neuroscience or equivalent discipline
- shows a willingness to learn about new techniques and scientific fields, intrinsic motivation and independency to contribute their ideas to the project
- team player and openness for collaboration within our research group, inside the project, and beyond
- experience in animal models of human diseases, cellular biology as well as molecular biology is desirable, but not mandatory
