Do you like to work with new and exciting products on the market but find it hard to gauge whether they really have the potential to be successful?

Our client is a start-up with a clinically proven product and pipeline full of leads, but they lack a Territory Sales Manager to convert these into sales.

So in essence you won't find it hard to map out who to visit and get in the door so to speak. But the key would be to close new business and then upsell internally to other departments once the hospital has become a client.

This positions does cover all of Europe but the travelling is still limited as you certainly won't be visiting every hospital.

There are likely going to be more colleagues joining over time. Currently they are about 15 employees and nearly all are based remote, which would be the same in this positions.

Their HQ is located in Denmark.

Ideally we see that you are based either in Germany, Austria or the Benelux region though.

They are a digital health company aiming to set a new standard of care in general wards monitoring with their proprietary algorithm-based nurse app.

Their app uses standard patient monitoring data to identify and flag clinically relevant complications earlier, enabling 24 / 7 monitoring even in crowded wards.

This helps nurses anticipate potential complications and reduce the risk of severe events such as sepsis and stroke. In fact, this app is clinically proven to decrease the average number of complications per bed by 4 over the course of a year.

Each complication costing on average 10-15k euros or more. In some cases those events are even fatal.

Their product is CE marked and is also undergoing FDA approval.

We estimate the base salary to range between 75,000 - 90,000 euros per year and a bonus / commission scheme on top.

Requirements :

  • The number one requirements is that you have previous hospital sales experience and have closed deals on your own. Even with plenty of leads this position will still involve a lot of new business development or upselling of existing clients.
  • Fluency in English is critical. Languages like German, Dutch or others could also be a big advantage for their respective markets.
  • If you have sold medical software solutions to hospitals it would be the absolute ideal background and you will likely find yourself quite at home here.
