For our client, an international, biopharmaceutical start-up company focused on developing and delivering innovative therapies to improve the quality of life for patients living with rare diseases, we are currently seeking an :

Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist DACH / Controller DACH (m / w / d)

This job is hybrid. Candidates should be able to come into the office in Munich one day per week.

Job Description

This position offers you the opportunity to contribute with your skills in the areas of controlling, planning, analysis, and reporting, and further develop them.

You will work closely with decision makers across the company and therefore you will be able to grow your strategic capabilities and business acumen.

Your responsibilities :

• Your thorough analysis will provide strategic financial insights and support informed decision-making. Focus areas are sales, cost, and profitability.
• You will collaborate locally and with global departments to enhance dashboards and craft impactful business intelligence solutions for strategic decision-making.
• Input, extract and prepare data from our systems, ensuring accuracy to provide reliable insights.
• Leverage your knowledge and expertise to support internal and global projects.
• Identify process, report, and system enhancement opportunities, drive harmonization and automation

Requirements :

• Successfully completed studies in the field of business & economics
• Able to think outside the box with a high willingness to learn
• 3 years professional experience in controlling
• Strong IT affinity and interest in digitalization; experience with business intelligence applications, databases, and a pro user of all Microsoft Office applications esp. Excel and Power BI
• Effective communication style in German and English
