Ihre Aufgaben
- Guide and coach a dedicated team of professional technical service trainers towards excellent training delivery
- Act as the primary L&D (Learning & Development) contact for service-related L&D initiatives, and address training needs for various service roles (e.
g. Field Technicians, Service Sales, Uptime Support) ensuring a consistent and effective approach across related programs
- Prioritize L&D initiatives with MSBU (Medical Service Business Unit) stakeholders, and lead initiatives towards a successful implementation
- Design comprehensive training concepts, curricula or training events and oversee their execution
- Own the annual training planning process for MSBU Training, incl. scheduling of new hire training and regular or ad hoc offerings for continuous learning
- Continually assess the quality and efficacy of training programs, ensuring their effectiveness, and adjust as needed to enhance outcomes in alignment with relevant business stakeholders
- Balance between optimal training results and efficient training delivery standards, for example by questioning the status quo and role modelling innovative training approaches
- Foster strong internal relationships and collaborate seamlessly with other L&D teams and other stakeholders within the organization (e.
g., Quality, Commercial functions)
- Engage with business stakeholders at all organizational tiers from both headquarter and regional teams and extend your reach from the EMEA region to a global scale
- Promote and support the continuous professional growth and development of team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Step into the role of a trainer or workshop facilitator when necessary
Ihre Qualifikationen
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Medical Technology, Natural Science, or a related field
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications in L&D, MedTech, or Medical Training would be a distinct advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Learning & Development role, with at least 3 years in product or technical training, preferably within the MedTech or healthcare sector
- Proven track record in successfully developing and executing L&D programs or projects
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, including at the senior management level, particularly within an international or multi-regional context
- Previous leadership or managerial experience, leading teams or projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex product and procedural information effectively to diverse audiences
- Proficient in modern L&D tools and methodologies and in utilizing the PDCA or similar continuous improvement cycles
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of designing training strategies aligned with business goals
- Deep understanding of the MedTech industry and Olympus products
- Good understanding of the needs of different service roles
- Demonstrated ability to balance training effectiveness with efficiency considerations
- Collaborative mindset, adept at fostering strong relationships across departments and regions
- Quality-driven personality with strong organizational skills
- Willingness to travel (mainly within EMEA) up to 20%
