Pharma-Partners are currently supporting a growing, innovative, global pharmaceutical company to hire an experienced Medical Science Liaison to work on a ground breaking new product launch.
You will be covering the Central Germany region. The role involves managing and executing medical field activities that support Medical Affairs strategies.
You will leverage clinical knowledge and field expertise and will identify and communicate emerging scientific insights with key healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute the regional MSL plan, which includes product launch activities, evidence generation, external expert engagement plan, medical education, publication, and communication plan, ensuring the successful implementation of medical affairs strategy at the country level in close collaboration with relevant functions.
- Identify investigator-initiated study (IIS) opportunities ,and act as the primary conduit
- Report emerging clinical trends
- Assist in development of advisory boards, symposia and publication plans
- Support the medical affairs team to develop appropriate strategic and tactical plans (e.g. MAC) for the country / cluster and / or program
- Be the team expert on all aspects of the MSL role including : subject matter expertise, process improvements and sharing of best practice
- Work with the office-based medical affairs team to bring the voice of the field-based MSL into strategy development and material creation
- Provide accurate and fair-balanced medical and scientific education using the medical-scientific literature
- Give presentations to health care professionals and internal stakeholders both proactively and in response to requests for information.
- Provide scientific support and attendance to conferences and meetings
- Be fully compliant with all ethics, compliance and other internal policies
The Candidate :
Medical degree, PhD, PharmD or relevant higher life science degree
Prior MSL experience within the pharmaceutical industry is a must
Highest ethical standards
Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
Time and territory management skills required
Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule
Fluent German and English speaker required
Approximately 50-60% travel is required; overnight travel is required as needed
Remuneration :
Basic annual salary depending on experience plus a standard benefits package
