About the role
Working with marketing from different regions and experts from R&D teams, the Research Scientist - Competitor Insights (all genders) for Automatic Dishwashing Category supports on key initiatives related to competitor’s analysis.
Working with marketing and legal from different regions, experts from R&D teams, and external test institutes, you'll support on key initiatives related to competitor’s analysis.
This position is limited for 2 years.
Your responsibilities
In summary, you'll :
- monitor, analyze, and report on competitor trends and activities
- run internal and external performance studies of competitor products.
- evaluate test results, prepare reports & presentations
- systematically observe competitors in our product category and others in similar formats
- participate in ideation activities and contribute with inputs for the definition of the next generation products and new opportunities
- coordinate with R&D and local marketing on benchmarking activities and new competitor products
- lead and train a team while building great team spirit
- use a wide breadth of view when analyzing a problem whilst maintaining a focus on the objectives
The experience we're looking for
- a master’s or bachelor's degree in chemistry, ideally with professional experience in the field of development of detergents and cleaning agents
- good communication skills in English and German
- good Microsoft Office software knowledge (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- you have first experience of working in a fast-paced environment and completing projects in tight timelines and managing multiple projects in an efficient, timely and precise way.
- strong team spirit coupled with a solution oriented as well as pragmatic approach
