WMS Implementation Consultant

Germany

Permanent - Full time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Migration projects to new WMS and Maintenance
  • Gathering operational requirements
  • Creating technical specifications
  • Implement clients in WMS together with the IT Logistics Team.
  • Along with mentorship provided, be able to gradually take over most of the implementation tasks.
  • Maintaining and Implementing existing and future accounts.
  • Providing first-line support on WMS, RF Scanners to resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Strive to continuously improve & enhance the services received and supplied, and to make recommendations and introduce efficiencies to reduce operating costs
  • Assisting during scoping, requirements, and training / testing sessions.
  • Ensuring effective and efficient communication with all stakeholders.
  • Working with customers, colleagues, and IT Logistics App team to support implementations and projects.
  • Willingness to work overtime.

Education / Qualifications and / or Skills and Work Experience Requirements :

  • 5+ years’ experience in logistics warehousing activities.
  • Good verbal & Written English.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Work as a self-motivated & reliable team player.
  • Work on own initiative, from skeleton guidelines.
  • Deal with difficult and sensitive situations, using tact and diplomacy.

    • Ideal experience :

  • Familiarity with Blue Yonder WMS (preferably but not essential).
  • Proficient with Excel macros, document / label designers, reporting.
  • Experience of process design.

    • Other

    Travel will be required as and when projects or problems arise within the EMEA region. Approx. 10% of the time.
