Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, establish, and implement essential parameters and KPIs to drive logistics operations and processes.
- Develop and standardize logistics process standards and frameworks in collaboration with key supply chain stakeholders, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and future demands.
- Facilitate logistics operational models through comprehensive analysis, design, and implementation of end-to-end solutions that support business and supply chain strategies.
- Integrate new acquisitions and partners effectively into various supply chain functions, ensuring accurate process mapping and seamless business integration.
- Evaluate and enhance current logistics processes through detailed, fact-based analysis and decision-making.
- Champion and oversee the implementation of innovative logistics solutions and process improvements, monitoring and reporting on outcomes.
What You'll Need :
- A University Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; an MBA or related qualification is preferred.
- Experience in consultancy, particularly related to pharmaceutical logistics, or direct experience within the pharmaceutical industry or logistics service providers.
- Proven background in Supply Chain "deliver" roles, such as a business expert in Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing & Distribution, or Foreign Trade.
- Extensive experience in logistics transformation projects, including aspects such as financial flow, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, 3PL management / outsourcing, order-to-cash process improvement, performance management, and new product introduction (NPI).
- Desirable certifications include Green Belt Six Sigma and Supply Chain Certification (e.g., APICS / IBF).
- Prior involvement in pharmaceutical logistics, especially in program and project management within a cold chain, including system setup coordination, primary and secondary distribution, and customs compliance.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP / SD / eWMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and familiarity with the latest in real-time monitoring, order processing, and warehousing technologies & systems.
- Fluency in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and compellingly to all organizational levels, both in writing and verbally.
