Job Description
What will you work on?
You will actively assist and support the sales team to maximise sales, reporting and promotional activity within some of the company’s biggest customers. Key Accountabilities :
- To provide a robust administration function including sales data analysis / forecasting, stockcontrol liaison, order chasing
- To be the principal interface with the buying assistants of key accounts dealing with anysituation that arises as a result
- To ensure the accurate and timely completion of the quotes and spec forms for accounts inthe time limit specified by the customer
- To provide support to the account team in planning, booking and monitoring account specificpromotional activity, and recording all aspects in Sales Force
- To ensure the timely preparation for customer meetings and previews How will you create impact? Principal Tasks :
- Sales Support To ensure the Buying Assistants and the Senior Buyers have any information / assistance that they require in the pursuit of their daily dutiesTo resolve any queries in this regard as appropriate, including resolving the queriesof Senior Buyers in the absence of the NAMsTo ensure that the Buying Assistants are aware of relevant marketing opportunitiesTo respond to reasonable requests from Buying Assistants as appropriate
- Stock control To provide a supportive role and a communication link between Stock Control and theSales Team for all accountsTo chase stock control for orders as required in line with forecasts
- Meetings Preparation for meetings Agendas, sales data, stock levels, presentations asrequiredInternal Sales Marketing and Stock MeetingsExternal Stock meetings and account meetings as required to take minutes and toprovide a suitably detailed contact report on the outcomes of the meeting, to includean action plan for either / both partiesTo follow up action points to ensure achievement and closure following the meeting
- Forecasting Compiling of seasons forecast sheetAssisting as required with forecastingAnalysing sales out data to assist with planned intakesChasing stock controllers for orders in line with demand forecasts
- Selections Produce domestic quotes, collating dimensions, images, and prices for customers asrequired. Also checking of the HK FOB quotes prior to sending to customersContact with Finance re : pricing and MOQ’sCompiling of seasons listing sheetRequesting of Price / Discount set ups as required
- Samples Work in conjunction with marketing to get stock, mock ups, images and samples tocustomers within required time-frame
- Promotions Support the account team and customer buying team with the planning andimplantation of customer specific promotional activity (and materials), and recordingand monitoring invoicing of such promotions in Sales Force
- Reports Sales Marketing, General Sales Requests, Dimensions, Meeting Notes, New Line Formsand more :
- To analyse other promotional activity in stores and to recommend appropriate actionto prevent the loss of opportunity
- To be aware of retail product pricing and to communicate this to the marketing team asappropriate
- To be aware of product placement stocking and to make suggestions to the Sales Teamregarding the weighting of future ordering
- To act as a point of contact for the sales team in their absence
- Facilitating and organising trade fairs or customer inhouse buying events
- Including participation / representing Spin Master if needed
- Basic administrative and office management tasks
- Managing showroom and storage room
- To undertake any ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time by the Directors
- To undertake any of the above tasks in an appropriately professional and timely manner at allTimes

What are your skills and experience?
- Educated minimum to A’ Level standard
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role in the CPG or Toy industry preferred
- Retail Experience either at store level or retail planning experience an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, Sales Force (or similarCRM tool)
- Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, and both independently, as well as in team environment
- Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports
