In a nutshell

As part of the Communications & Engagement team you contribute to an engaging and inspiring work environment in which our growing team of 10000 employees and 500 team leads can get the best out of themselves.

You organise events and celebrations and expand our internal communication and engagement calendar around Picnics mission and values.

Together with your colleagues from the international Communications & Engagement team you will work to realise our mission : to be the best place to work for our employees!

What youll do

Create engagement initiatives for operational and central employees in Germany to drive employee satisfaction :

• Maintain our engagement calendar build engagement programs around Picnics mission and values
• Partner with our business stakeholders and employees to ensure our events meet their goals and needs

Build further on Picnic as a place where people feel connected to our mission connected to coworkers and feel valued for contributions :

• Create and organise teambyteam and companywide events and celebrate successes like periodic business updates and annual parties (Summer Christmas Picnics anniversary)
• Manage employee delight programs (e.g. : Christmas gifts merchandise milestone celebrations)

About you

• BSc. degree in Hospitality Event Management or a similar field
• 3 years of professional experience in the field of event management
• Fluent in English and German (basic knowledge of Dutch / French would be a plus)
• Project management skills : you can manage projects internationally and get things done (with colleagues from other teams)
• Financially savvy : you make budgetconscious decisions and optimise resources to achieve the best results
• Creative mind : you generate new ideas and have a good feeling for marketing
• Conceptual thinker : you have the ability to create engagement concepts that match employee and business needs
