Lead Interior Designer (m/f/d)

As Lead Interior Designer , you're on a dual mission to bring our motto 'Live beautiful' to life in our Retail Stores and the homes of our customers.

On one hand, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning and executing captivating interior designs for our Stores that reflect our brand DNA and resonate with our target audience.

On the other hand, you will shape the creative vision and strategic direction of our Westwing Design Service and leverage your expertise to create interior concepts perfectly tailored to the individual needs of our most valuable private and business customers.

This position is unlimited and preferably located in Munich .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• own the Look and Feel of our Stores and bring alive our vision of the most exciting home and living stores
• use your creative mind to design immersive window displays, top-notch interior looks for our room sets and inspiring product curation for stunning retail shelves, including mood boards and 3D mockups
• work with our customers to design the perfect interior concept for their home or business, understanding their needs and translating them into innovative design solutions- our highest goal is that every client enjoys the process and leaves with a room design that they can't wait to implement
• define and uphold design standards, shape and articulate the creative vision, ensuring all concepts align with and exceed established guidelines
• act as a coach to our wonderful team of skilled interior designers, work with them on best practices and foster an environment of creativity and excellence as well as nurture their professional growth
• stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovative design concepts - incorporating all relevant insights into your designs
• work closely with other teams to align your creative strategies with overall business objectives

YOU COME WITH

• education in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• 8 years of experience in Interior Design and Styling at a renowned design company
• a portfolio that showcases your ideas and how you bring your interior ideas to life
• proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc
• excellent understanding of latest and upcoming interior design & styling trends; visual and spatial awareness, with a keen eye for detail and proportion
• high willingness to travel as the position requires visiting our Stores and high net worth clients
• ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• excellent English skills (written and spoken); German language is a plus
