Backend Engineer - JVM/Kotlin (m/f/d)
For the client, a creator of a communication program designed for both business and private customers, offering services in a Software as a Service model, we are seeking a Backend Engineer - JVM / Kotlin (m / f / d).
Responsibilities :
- Assume responsibility : Independently develop and roll out fresh functionalities for our customers.
- Foster teamwork : Collaborate closely with our frontend engineers.
- Enhance platform efficiency to elevate user satisfaction.
- Engage in deliberations on the future architecture of The Client.
- Mold internal development methodologies to facilitate the growth of our engineering team.
- Propose innovative concepts to refine our product.
Qualifications :
You've previously worked with Java and Spring Boot? No problem! The Client will swiftly transition you to Kotlin and the Quarkus Framework.

- Quarkus Framework instead of Java / Spring Boot
- AWS : RDS with Postgres, S3, SQS, SNS, SES
- GitHub Actions for CI / CD
- Typesense for search functionality
- Linear for project management
- LaunchDarkly for feature flagging
- Doppler for secret management
- Monitoring with DataDog, Sentry, and BetterUptime
- For the web application : Typescript, React, NextJS, and TailwindCSS
- For the mobile application : Typescript and React Native
