What you’ll do :
As an Associate Development Architect (f / m / d), you will be pivotal in designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions to support our lifecycle objectives.
This role requires demands a deep technical expertise to design, implement, and optimize our large-scale cloud environment.
Knowledge in Kubernetes as well as expert knowledge in Linux system administration and KVM virtualization. Excellent programming skills in Python, Go, Ansible or similar languages are mandatory.
You will collaborate with cross-functional DevOps teams to assess requirements, design scalable and secure cloud architectures, and operate the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.
We are cultivating a DevOps culture, adhering to the motto 'You build it, you run it'. You will join the on-call rotation, sharing responsibilities with the rest of the PlusOne team to ensure continuous support coverage and demonstrate your commitment to the role.
What you bring :
In addition to a high level of commitment and reliability, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you also bring the folllowing :
- Proficient in various Linux distributions (e.g., Gardenlinux, CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL).
- Excellent programming skills in Python, Go, Ansible, or similar languages for automation and scripting.
- Experience with container technologies and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in virtualized environments.
- Strong understanding of file systems, kernel tuning, and performance optimization.
- Experience with libvirt for managing KVM environments and virsh command-line tool and libvirt XML configuration.
- Skills in tuning and optimizing both the host and guest systems for optimal performance.
- Knowledge of benchmarking tools and techniques to measure and improve performance.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
