Project description
Pagateq is a fintech owned for Deutsche Bank in Germany to process the merchant payments. The project is to develop / maintain new services in order to offer Merchants access to online payments covering multiple payments schemes - example : Master card, Visa Giro cards, SEPA direct debit, Paypal, Klarna or iDEAL etc.
e- and m-commerce, merchants with traditional sales channels in Germany use this payment platform & additionally get access to multiple reporting & analytics services.
This platform is built as highly scalable, resilient & a secure comply to PC-DSS standards. Description of individual component is on each JD i.
e what a splunk dev will do what Java dev & BA etc. Pagateq works independently as a fintech under Deutsche bank umbrella & has capability who white label its solution.
Installation, configuration, maintenance and upkeep of a payment service platform which interfaces with all major payment providers.
As example : Cards, SEPA direct debit, Paypal, Klarna or iDEAL and much more.
Team of 6 People, based in Bonn.
Responsibilities
- software tests
- responsible for investigating, procuring, installing, and maintaining software applications that meet an organization's needs, and creating processes and protocols for software systems.
- operation and managing the application : Release Installation, Updates, Scripting, Task Scheduling, and Support.
- ensuring flawless integration with existing systems.
- collaborating with cross-functional teams for project success
- work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT administrators, and business analysts, to ensure that projects align with organizational goals and are executed with precision.
- troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- provide root cause analysis when requested.
- monitor application health, security compliance, and performance, taking proactive measures to address any issues that arise.
- deliver new and improved capabilities in systems monitoring, recovery, and stability aspects of the system.
- assist in the setup and configuration of new platform infrastructure.
- respond to and resolve escalated technical issues related to the application.
- create and maintain documentation related to best practices and troubleshooting guides.
- perform / schedule application script deployment.
- other support-related activities.
Skills
Must have
- strong IT background with excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
- strong service-oriented experience / background preferred.
- familiar with Agile methodology.
- familiar with RestAPIs, Java, JBoss, Oracle and authentication messages.
- effective communication and collaboration skills.
- problem-solving aptitude in dynamic IT environments.
- fin-tech background.
- ability to function as part of an international team with different locations.
- ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
Nice to have
Experience in the payment area (including payment messages).
