Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract ( LOGCAP ).

KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor.

Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

Implements health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines for the employee and department safety.

Creates incident reports and performs inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE. Interacts with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes, and regulations.

Determines requisite for and organizes audits of company operated properties. Keeps informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.

Assists in development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.

Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.

Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
