Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance and condition management of all hotel interiors and external decks on assigned vessels, ensuring effective use of budgets and inventories
  • Drive the planning and execution of hotel projects, refits, and improvement works, ensuring timely delivery and consistently high standards
  • Shape the onboard guest experience by selecting and implementing furniture, furnishings, and interior design elements aligned with brand guidelines
  • Oversee drydock activities from planning to commissioning, ensuring accurate budget forecasting and strong coordination with internal and external partners
  • Direct external service providers by defining technical specifications, guiding tender processes, and monitoring performance and deliverables
  • Conduct targeted inspections and audits on hotel condition, HESS compliance, operational procedures, and regulatory adherence
  • Lead the planning and supervision of the Facility Riding Team to ensure efficient onboard maintenance support and high-quality project execution


Your Profile

  • Degree in Naval Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture or Technical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the cruise sector or related fields
  • Solid understanding of technical drawings, interior design principles, and shipboard hotel areas; AutoCAD reading skills required
  • Strong project management capabilities, with proven skills in coordination, prioritization, and stakeholder communication
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, solution-oriented working style
  • Confident with data handling and reporting, including proficient use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to guide projects and collaborate across onboard and shorebased teams
  • Very good command of English; previous shore-based experience is a plus
