As a Senior Manager Data Protection, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the Data Protection policies and processes of STADA.
This position requires an individual with a strong understanding of global Data Protection laws, impeccable judgment in handling confidential information, and a strategic approach to implementing the Data Protection program that align with our Corporate Compliance objectives.
This position offers a remarkable opportunity to lead and shape the Data Protection program within a dynamic industry, ensuring that STADA meets all regulatory requirements while maintaining the trust and confidence of our patients, customers and stakeholders.
What you can expect
- You lead the creation and execution of effective Data Protection strategies to ensure comprehensive compliance with global regulations such as GDPR.
- You regularly update the Data Protection program to reflect changes in laws, standards, and global policies.
- You act as a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert for Data Protection, advising in individual cases.
- You provide strategic advice and regularly communicate with senior management about the status, issues, and evolutions within the Data Protection landscape.
- You consult domestic and foreign subsidiaries regarding Data Protection topics, including the development of solutions.
- You understand the business and business needs to provide risk-based advice, enabling the achievement of business goals while adhering to Compliance requirements.
- You conduct Privacy Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments, identifying risks and advising on risk management strategies.
- You draft, maintain, and revise STADA’s Data Protection policies, ensuring they are considered in all relevant business processes and advising on potential risks.
Who we are looking for
- You hold a diploma or Master’s degree with a legal, economic, or similar educational background.
- You have 3-6 years of experience in a global professional or corporate environment in Data Protection, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- You possess certification in Data Protection (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) as a plus.
- You have a proven track record of managing Data Protection strategies and compliance programs.
- You possess expert knowledge of domestic and international Data Protection laws.
- You uphold high ethical standards and professional integrity.
- You have project management and process design skills.
- You demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to conduct training sessions.
- You are fluent in German and English.
