Enterprise Data Architect
Job Description
This is a remote position.
Our client, a leading global IT service provider,is recruiting for an Enterprise Data Architectto join their business in the UK.
Key Responsibility :
Design and implement enterprise data architectures that meet business requirements and industry standards.
Lead data integration efforts using technologies like OT, Kafka, and others.
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data consistency and quality.
Provide hands-on expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and data governance.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and make recommendations for adoption.
Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture documentation and diagrams.
Participate in data-related projects and initiatives, providing guidance and oversight as needed.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Manage multiple dependencies and priorities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of enterprise data architecture projects.
Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear and concise guidance on data architecture decisions.
Provide thought leadership and strategic direction on enterprise data architecture.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise data architecture roadmap.
Ensure data architecture aligns with business strategy and goals.
Requirements :
10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on hands-on implementation and integration.
Strong expertise in data integration technologies like OT, Kafka, and others.
Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data quality.
Knowledge of data architecture patterns and best practices.
Strong understanding of data landscape and ability to provide foresight and advice on data architecture decisions.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Nice to Have :
Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
Certification in data architecture or related fields.
Experience with agile project management methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
Experience with IT service management frameworks like ITIL.
