Our customers include banks, insurance companies, car manufacturers and telecoms operators.

We are the biggest IT supplier of Skoda Auto and our presence in the VW Group is rapidly growing. Our digitalization portfolio is highly attractive also for other major OEMs.

Therefore, Trask is seeking a Business Development Manager with automotive expertise to expand our German market presence.

While a solid track record in automotive digitalization is valuable, your drive and passion for evolving in this field are just as important.

Main duties :

  • Identify new business opportunities while developing the existing pipeline; our aim is to accelerate growth based on a solid foundation already established.
  • Cultivate relationships with team members, senior managers, and key stakeholders pertinent to Trask's business.
  • Collaborate with Trask's automotive sales management and delivery teams on sales and pre-sales activities.
  • Manage account business planning and account strategy.
  • Conduct internal reporting on sales activities within the team.

Key requirements :

  • An automotive digitalization enthusiast with a proven track record in the automotive industry, having worked for either OEMs / Tier 1 companies or on the supplier side.
  • A perfect understanding of the IT services market in Germany, focusing on key automotive suppliers, which means Trask's portfolio will be easily understandable and the market familiar to you.
  • A self-driven and innovative individual with strong interpersonal skills, a network of contacts, and the ability to consult with and shape innovation alongside a client.
  • Your primary skill set is in sales, but your knowledge of automotive topics is extensive.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • You are a great farmer (we will need that for VW Group), but you also know how to hunt (we also want other OEMs in our portfolio).
  • You are not afraid of accepting a challenge to help Trask with scaling of our automotive business in Germany.
  • Native German speaker, fluent in English.
