Your prospective job :
For our client Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a System Enigneer (m / f / d) for A400M Electronic Warfare at the location Manching.
Human-Machine interface design aims at designing the best interface between people and their activities using the best technologies, the best User Interface principles and the best 'design and validation' methodologies such as prototyping methods.
They also contribute to the safety demonstration and certification of the systems aspects. This purpose is resulting from the application of engineering knowledge and user interface design knowledge and methods all along the products / services life cycle.
The main competences related to the Human- Machine Interface Design job are : System Engineering, Human-Machine Interaction, User Interface / Interaction, User Experience, Software Ergonomics.
Your responsibilities :
- Capturing customer requirements, generating corresponding solutions, and producing technical specifications (incl. OPSCON and CONOPS)
- Requirements analysis and definition (incl. requirements engineering in DOORS)
- System architecture defintion
- Technical assessment of supplier solution
- Technical coordination with supplier
- Trade-off analysis in order to select the best solution fulfilling the requirements
- Interface definition and management
- Definition of the requirements acceptance criteria and assessment of compliance
- Stakeholder identification and management,
- Performing technical milestone reviews (with or without customer)
Your profile :
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Engineering or Telecommunications
- Experience or high knowledge on RF jamming techniques and technology is required
- Experience in electronic warfare systems (sensors, countermeasures, avionics, etc.) or associated fields like radar is necessary
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, doors)
- DO-178 Software Qualification, DO-254 Hardware Qualification and DO-160 Environmental Qualification knowledge preferred
- Experience and knowledge on DPA-ABDs processes preferred
- Experience in equipment development and / or supplier management for RF and / or electrooptics equipment preferred
- Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel for day trips to Ulm
