Your mission

As our new Senior Backend Engineer (f / m / d) youll be joining a tight-knit team of passionate developers who have already made significant improvements to our platform but were just getting started. Your expertise will help us tackle challenging legacy code transformation while introducing modern approaches to our evolving tech ecosystem.

Were looking for someone who can think strategically contribute technically become an integral part of our collaborative team culture and work in close coordination with internal stakeholders and business departments to align technical solutions optimally with business requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a security-first approach proactively improving system protection
• Evaluate trade-offs and edge cases to make sound technical decisions
• Take initiative in proposing changes especially when identifying synergies with ongoing tasks
• Lead projects from a technical perspective ensuring high-quality delivery
• Conduct thorough impact and risk assessments
• Perform performance analyses and resolve bottlenecks
• Close exchange and clear communication with business departments and other non-technical stakeholders to optimally align development priorities
