We have a fantastic opportunity for an employee relations to join our Adobe Employer Experience Team (EX) based in Munich.

You will be accountable for the day to day operations and relationships with our new Works Council, based in Munich. You will work with the Works Council Lead EMEA and Employee Relations Director to build the business response, actions and relationships with our new Works Council in Munich.

You will be part of a wider EMEA Employee Relations Consultant team, who engage cross-functionally across Adobe to resolve complex and critical employment matters.

The team also provide direction on sophisticated employment matters, giving guidance and input on policies and practices, partnering with key collaborators throughout the business.

You will interact with various levels of management, while being a key partner among the EMEA Employment Law team, HRBPs, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and the rest of the Employee Resource Center (ERC).

What you will doManage the relations with the works council in Germany, who will be elected in March 2024, to include : Develop a constructive and collaborative relationship with our German Works CouncilDrive effective I&C processes with our German Works Council by determining the applicable procedure, drafting / supporting with presentation decks, preparing and leading the topics / meetings, being the communication point for the Works Council, handling expert audits if any, managing the Works Council committees, etc.

Develop and drive Employee Experience processes in conjunction with the EMEA Lead to ensure Adobe remains compliant with our Works Council obligations in Germany to include process adherence and record keeping.

Provide overall planning and coordination with any WC meeting to include informing the WC about daily operations and hold hearings for approvals where required e.

g. hiring, reorganization etc. Be the point of contact for all business changes impacting the employee population to include hiring, re-organizations and relevant employee actions.

Meet on the agreed cadence with the Works Council both in person and via Teams, and negotiate on business developments and Works Council agreements.

Responsible for Works Council budgeting and accountable for the Works Council Committees in Germany.Lead and manage the Works Council election processes when applicable and effective engagement of elected and / or appointed representativesNegotiate on key employment-related initiatives for Germany.

Collect feedback from the Works Council members, employee representatives to update the Develop dashboard to inform key stakeholders regarding activity & progress, queries along with any requirementsDrive improvement and consistency of approach, ensuring best practice processes in relation to Social DialogueCollaboration with the Works Council Lead (EMEA) to drive consistency of approach across all of our EMEA Works CouncilsProvide advice and guidance to local leadership and Employee Experience teams on Works Council matters whilst navigating through a complex labour relations environment.

Support in the implementation of new or modified policies in region (i.e. compensation, benefits)Collaborate with Employment legal department, CoEs and HRBPs and support general consultation, individual HR cases on employee relations and employment law topics as being a secondary priorityWhat you need to succeed Deep familiarity with all Employee and Labor Relations aspects of German employment lawA number of years of experience in managing relations with works council and staff representatives in GermanyStrong negotiating and conflict management skills, outcome orientedResilient, and the ability to be assertive when neededA willingness and proven ability to partner collaboratively with key stakeholders and work in cross-functional teamsDemonstrate effective influencing skills to work across different organizations / groupsAbility to navigate a matrix and work in ambiguous circumstancesInclined to use data to inform decisions and drive actionHighly effective communication skills, including effective listening, questioning skills, presentation, synthesis, and persuasionBusiness fluency in English and German are required, other languages are a plusAs our many awards will tell you, at Adobe you’ll be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized around the world.
