The Department of Political and Social Sciences at Zeppelin University invites applications for a Junior Professorship (tenure track) or Full Professorship in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (full-time, open rank) The successful candidate will represent the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology in its full breadth in both research and teaching. He or she will teach courses in the BA program Psychology, Economics & Politics as well as in the MA program Psychology & Management and will be responsible for the design and delivery of the corresponding modules. The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date. Applicants for a Junior Professorship are expected to have demonstrated, through their own prior research achievements, the ability to engage with new scientific subject areas and to develop a research profile of sufficient breadth appropriate for a future full professorship in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Candidates should show strong potential to successfully pass an interim or final tenure evaluation. Applicants for a Full Professorship should possess broad expertise in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, evidenced by relevant research achievements, and be able to represent the discipline comprehensively in both research and teaching. They should also have demonstrated the ability to engage with new scientific subject areas in order to keep pace with current and future developments in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Research achievements should be demonstrated primarily through publications in internationally renowned, peer-reviewed academic journals. Through their experience in securing competitive research funding (DFG projects, ERC grants, etc.), applicants demonstrate their ability to (further) develop their research agenda. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate strong didactic skills and a high level of commitment to teaching, including the willingness to teach courses in English within the bachelor's and master's programs and the doctoral program. An interest in interdisciplinarity in research and teaching is highly desirable, as is participation in the acquisition of competitive third-party funding for research projects. Willingness to participate in academic self-governance is also expected.
