Your Tasks
- Implementing utility-scale battery energy storage projects in Germany and worldwide
- Collaborating in various project phases, from concept to contract negotiation to commissioning
- Further developing innovative techno-commercial BESS contracts that set benchmarks for industry standards in terms of innovation, reliability and performance
- Cooperating closely with internal, external and international stakeholders (e.g. project developers, suppliers, energy providers)
- Actively supporting the development of the business segment to further expand Fichtner’s BESS presence and offering
- Visiting sites and taking business trips as required during various project phases (approx. 15-20% of working hours)
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering
- At least five years of practical experience in the implementation of utility-scale battery energy storage systems
- Expertise in preparing EPC and supplier tenders
- Knowledge of integrating battery energy storage systems with other technologies would be a great advantage
- Work experience with MATLAB would be an advantage
- Fluency in English and German is essential
- Very good communication skills for interacting with international colleagues and external stakeholders
