Front Desk and Lending Closet Administratorto support Army Community Service (ACS) operations in Ansbach Germany. This role ensures Soldiers and Family Members receive the guidance and resources needed to successfully navigate military life OCONUS.
This is an
excellent fit for candidates with prior military support experience or those who are service-minded adaptable and thrive in people-focused roles.
What Youll DoCustomer Service & Support- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly professional manner
- Answer questions and provide timely referrals to ACS staff and other community resources
- Register customers for ACS classes/events and confirm attendance
Information & Referral- Track all ACS classes trainings and sessions (phone in-person email)
- Make timely referrals and enter contact data into the Army Family Web Portal
- Maintain an up-to-date resource guide and post-wide directory
- Collect and input ICE comments and evaluations to measure customer satisfaction
Administrative Functions- Input customer data and statistics into the ACS Staff Application daily
- Maintain organized records files and digital systems
- Add edit and manage ACS classes/events within ACS Staff
- Ensure current flyers and information are displayed throughout ACS and the Welcome Center
Lending Closet Services- Prepare issue receive and properly store items per Relocation Readiness Program (RRP) guidelines
- Safely lift and transport items up to 60 lbs
- Keep inventory clean organized and accessible
- Notify customers of overdue items via email and a follow-up phone call
- Maintain and file a hard copy of the Lending Closet contracts
- Enter transactions and contacts into the Army Family Web Portal daily
- Conduct an inventory of supply items and provide a status report of the inventory quarterly
- Complete records for the disposal of all items that have reached the end of their lifecycle and remove items from inventory
- Dispose of the items utilizing on-post recycling and disposal facilities
- Choose and purchase Lending Closet items

Qualifications- 1 year experience supporting Military Families with community services or referrals
- Strong English language proficiency (Level 3 or higher) with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in both written and verbal formats; skilled in engaging with diverse individuals and conveying information in a courteous approachable and professional manner
- Technically skilled in Microsoft 365 (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams)
- Able to pass a background check
- Familiarity with ACS and DFMWR services preferred
