As a Team Lead / Senior Consultant for Software Projects (WMS), you will play a key role in the digital advancement of intralogistics: You will manage complex WMS projects, lead a specialized team, and play a pivotal role in driving the further development of the Warehouse Management System. In this role, you will report directly to our Director of Software Projects and contribute to the successful implementation of our client projects.

TASKS AWAITING YOU:

• Support and active participation in the software development of WMS systems within the field of automated intralogistics solutions
• Technical and managerial leadership of the team, with a focus on technical advancement, coding standards, architectural decisions, and sustainable software quality
• Planning, managing, and coordinating assigned software projects across all project phases
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, process descriptions, and functional and technical requirement specifications
• Design, evaluation, and further development of modern software architectures, taking current security requirements into account
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration with various departments such as Sales, Development, and Product Management

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED:

• A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, or IT training with many years of professional experience in software development and personnel management in the intralogistics sector
• Approximately 5–10 years of professional experience in intralogistics, ideally in the field of automated systems and IT/software solutions
• Extensive experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), preferably with integration into conveyor systems, material flow computers, and higher-level IT systems
• Initial leadership experience or proven experience in the technical management of teams or projects
• High flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills in a dynamic work environment
• Clear, proactive, and solution-oriented communication with customers and internal team members
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for work
