The ZIB is the central IT service provider for the Lower Saxony judiciary and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure serving approximately 23,500 clients. In addition, our team of 400 colleagues manages numerous digitization projects aimed at modernizing the judiciary.
To strengthen our team in Department 3107 – Clients, we are seeking a
Administrator
for Conference Solutions (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Your focus will be on the central planning, testing, administration, and support of audio and video conferencing solutions, as well as their integration into the IT enterprise environment of the Lower Saxony judiciary.
- You will assist with the implementation and further development of conference and media technology in courtrooms.
- You will create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and operational concepts.
- You will be responsible for managing and collaborating with external service providers and manufacturers.
- You will assist with 3rd-level support (client management).
What Sets You Apart:
- You hold a relevant college degree (e.g., in computer science) and have at least two years of professional experience or equivalent skills and experience.
- You have extensive experience with audio, video, and presentation technology, as well as common IT technologies such as current Windows client and server operating systems.
- Practical experience with common technologies in an enterprise environment—such as current Windows client and server operating systems—is particularly advantageous for this role.
- Ideally, you have scripting skills (preferably PowerShell).
- In addition, experience with room control systems, AV/media technology, media technology components, and AV-over-IP would be desirable.
What we also expect:
- Ability to work in a team, initiative, and a service-oriented mindset
- German language skills at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as English language skills typical for the IT field
- Willingness to travel on business within Lower Saxony
Willingness to undergo and pass a security clearance check in accordance with Section 7(1) of the Lower Saxony Security Clearance Act (Nds. SÜG) is required.
