Country Manager Germany (Geschäftsführer) - BESS Project Development

Position Overview :
As the Germany Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our client's market entry and development efforts in Germany.
With a primary focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will lead strategic initiatives to establish and grow our client's presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities :
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development :
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the German renewable energy sector, focusing on PV or BESS.
- Develop and implement market entry and expansion strategies tailored to the German market.
- Project Development and Execution :
- Lead the entire project development process, from site identification to commercial operation, with expertise in either PV or BESS projects.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate project development and execution.
- Team Leadership and Management :
- Build and manage a high-performing national team to execute project development activities effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Partnership and Business Development :
- Identify strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance project development capabilities.
- Engage with potential customers and investors to explore new business opportunities.
- Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management :
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and mitigate risks associated with project development.
- Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to navigate regulatory challenges.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project development within the German renewable energy sector, with a focus on either PV or BESS.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing renewable energy projects in Germany.
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and permitting processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
Location :
The position is based in Germany, with remote work flexibility and occasional travel as needed.
