Product Manager - Deployment & Licensing (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You define and own the product roadmap for software deployment, cloud delivery, and licensing capabilities across multiple product families.
• You drive seamless deployment experiences for on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid cloud environments with a strong focus on simplicity and ease of use.
• You gather, prioritize, and translate customer, partner, and stakeholder requirements into product strategies, user stories, and release plans.
• You collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Cloud Architecture teams to deliver scalable deployment automation, CI/CD integrations, and operational tooling.
• You lead the evolution of software licensing capabilities, including subscription, perpetual, consumption-based, and feature-based licensing models.
• You ensure deployment and licensing solutions meet enterprise-grade security, compliance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• You analyze customer feedback, support cases, and usage data to continuously improve deployment, upgrade, and licensing experiences.
• You partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams to enable successful product launches and customer adoption.

THATS YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or other highly technical environments.
• Proven experience managing products related to software deployment, platform infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, or enterprise software delivery.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) as well as modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and similar cloud-native deployment frameworks.
• Knowledge of software licensing models, including subscription, perpetual, SaaS, usage-based licensing, entitlement management, and license activation workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into user-friendly solutions and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English language skills; German or additional languages are a plus.
