Description and Requirements


At Lenovo, we are shaping the future of data center infrastructure and Enterprise AI. We are looking for an experienced Data Center Solution Sales Specialist to help our customers accelerate their digital transformation through innovative infrastructure, hybrid cloud, storage, and AI solutions.

In this field-based role, you will partner closely with dedicated Client Managers to develop strategic customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive end-to-end solution sales across Germany. You'll become a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, helping them solve complex business challenges while growing Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Client Managers to develop and execute account strategies for enterprise customers across Germany.
  • Build and strengthen trusted relationships with customers by positioning Lenovo as a strategic partner for Data Center Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud, Storage, Enterprise AI, and Lenovo 360 solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within existing customer accounts while expanding Lenovo's footprint.
  • Lead the complete solution sales cycle—from opportunity identification and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Advise customers on business challenges and technology strategies, translating business needs into innovative infrastructure and AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Pre-Sales, Services, Marketing, and Business Partners to deliver customer-centric solutions and successful implementations.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts, manage pipeline health, and contribute to achieving revenue and growth objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to proactively identify new business opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in enterprise solution sales within Data Center Infrastructure, Servers, Storage, Hybrid Cloud, Enterprise AI, or related technologies.
  • Experience selling into enterprise customers and working within complex sales environments.
  • Strong consultative selling, business development, and relationship management skills and experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with account managers and cross-functional teams to drive customer success.
  • Good understanding of data center technologies and the ability to articulate business value to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or enterprise IT ecosystems is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities in a field sales environment.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
