Territory Customer Support Specialist Crop Care & Precision Tech (m/f/d)

Our new Crop Care & Precision Tech team will help customers and channel partners turn innovative products, connected machines and digital solutions into measurable agronomic, economic and operational outcomes. As a Territory Customer Support Specialist Crop Care & Precision Tech, your focus will be on developing and supporting our channel partners, strengthening their product support capabilities and improving customer satisfaction across Crop Care and Precision Technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with dealers, customers and internal John Deere stakeholders to resolve product and performance issues, deliver impactful training, support customer adoption and ensure that our Crop Care and Precision Tech solutions perform successfully in the field.

In addition to the gross monthly salary, the salary for this position (full-time) consists of various special payments. Depending on your experience, you can expect an annual starting salary of between 84 907 and 106 134 EUR in this position.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop channel partners’ product support capabilities and dealer readiness along the customer success journey to improve customer experience for all Crop Care and Precision Technology products.
• Deliver product technical training to channel partners, company employees and customers. Supporting and augmenting dealer and training center instructors.
• Support resolution of product and performance issues together with internal stakeholders, channel partners and customers.
• Support dealer locations through planned business travel, field visits, customer engagements and hands-on support activities.
• Drive customer adoption and successful utilization of Precision Tech and digital solutions in Crop Care applications.
• Collaborate closely with production systems, product support, product management, marketing, factories, field teams and dealers to identify root causes, share feedback and implement sustainable support solutions.
• Contribute to constructive, creative win-win solutions that balance customer needs, dealer capability and John Deere business objectives.
• Use customer, dealer and field insights to continuously improve support processes, training concepts and product performance feedback loops.

What Skills You Need:

• Strong understanding of customers’ economic and agronomic challenges and the ability to translate them into effective support actions.
• Passion for Precision Technologies, digital agriculture solutions and their practical application in Crop Care operations.
• Experience in agriculture, agricultural equipment, crop care solutions, application technology, precision farming or related support functions.
• Experience in customer support and field support.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate and interact effectively with dealers, customers, company employees and cross-functional internal stakeholders.
• Strong motivation to develop and support our channel partners and build sustainable dealer capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, remain self-motivated and self-organized, and manage multiple support priorities in a territory environment.
• Interest in personal growth, continuous learning and contributing to a supportive and engaged team culture.
• Desire to contribute to feeding the world and belief in sustainability through efficient, precise and responsible agricultural solutions.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• Willingness to visit dealer locations and customers through self-organized business travel.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Experience delivering technical, product or management training to dealers, customers or internal teams.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex product or performance issues in collaboration with dealers, customers and internal experts.
• Established network within the agricultural industry, John Deere dealer channel or Precision Ag ecosystem.
• Experience building effective relationships with customers, dealers and cross-functional internal partners.
• Track record of improving dealer capability, customer satisfaction or product support performance.

Education:

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience within agriculture, agronomy, agricultural engineering, precision agriculture, technical support, customer support or related fields.

This exempt position is based Walldorf but flexible to other home units within the Area of responsibility, including a field-team contract and vacant immediately.
