Working student (d/f/m) in Quality Procurement and Supply Chain

You are a full time student (d/f/m), looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Procurement Compliance Specialist? Then apply now! • Duration: 12-24 months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your location: Hamburg Finkenwerder

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Core Scope & Quality Procedures

As part of the Quality Procurement Product Conformance team, you will contribute directly to maintaining Airbus’s high standards of product safety and quality governance. You will gain exposure to four key quality procedures:

• MC.QU.02 - Manage Manufacturing Non-Conformance
• MC.PS.07 - Manage Product Safety in Production
• MP.AC.05 - Manage Configuration Conformity and Attestation
• SO.CS.02 - Control Suppliers

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Quality Data Analytics : Evaluate supply chain quality data, build automated dashboards to monitor compliance metrics, and ensure data accuracy across multiple systems.
• Quality Process & Digital Improvement: Propose enhancements for digital quality tools, support process optimization, and manage team communication channels (including the internal website).
• Quality Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement: Synthesize complex quality and safety data into compelling visual presentations tailored for audiences ranging from shop-floor operations to management.
• Compliance & Project Support: Contribute to product conformance initiatives, quality project management, contract support, and act as a Safety Ambassador to promote safety guidelines within the team.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student in the area of Quality Engineering, Business Management or an equivalent field of study

• Data analysis

• English: Negotiation level
• French: Intermediate level
