Specialization: Demand and Supply Chain Planning


Focus: Digitalized processes and Oracle enterprise applications


The goal is clear: excellent business processes with Oracle® digitalization solutions! And you show our demanding customers the way into the digital future. Together with the customer, you design intelligent business processes in which modern, market-leading digitalization technologies can fully unfold their potential. Based on agile and hybrid methodologies, you configure enterprise software systems that are precisely tailored to the customer's business processes. You are responsible for the turnkey implementation and the accompanying change management.
A wide range of tasks await you:

  • Consulting our international customers in the upper mid-market in the production of industrial goods
  • Analyzing and optimizing business processes with a focus on Oracle solutions
  • Supporting the implementation and configuration of Oracle standard applications
  • As a Demand and Supply Chain Consultant, you bring expertise in data-driven forecasting and planning (e.g., S&OP, MRP, advanced analytics), combine this with in-depth end-to-end process knowledge, and use your systems expertise (ERP/APS) to strategically optimize complex supply networks
  • Modeling and specifying production-related SCM and planning processes
  • Conducting training sessions and workshops for users
  • Occasional travel to customer sites

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, engineering, logistics or a related field
  • At least 2–3 years’ professional experience in industry, preferably in process management or organisation, but also in demand and supply chain planning, quality management or the sourcing/procurement departments of manufacturing companies
  • Initial industry experience in supply chain management, logistics or production
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle Applications or other ERP systems would be an advantage
  • Analytical thinking and a passion for solving complex business problems
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
