Are you seeking a challenging role in the construction industry? A prestigious data centre delivery partner is seeking a talented individual to join their team as an Electrical Construction Manager.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring project compliance, safety, and quality.
Responsibilities include :
- Oversight of compliance and governance matters, including health & safety on site.
- Implementing changes to enhance safety protocols.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
- Collaborating with package managers to develop company procedures.
- Managing change effectively (Cost & Programme).
Requirements :
- Essential : Relevant Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds Certificate, HNC / BTEC, or NVQ).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advantageous : Experience in the data centre industry.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Managing site Quality Assurance in conjunction with the QA Manager.
- Coordination of project scheduling with the Project Team.
- Preparation of lookahead schedules.
- Ensuring labor requirements are met as per project program.
- Oversight of subcontractors' activities and progress.
- Timely notification of variations and delays to Project Management.
- Coordination of materials onsite as per specifications.
- Assistance with project closeout activities.
