What you will enjoy doing

• Lead and develop a team of engineering and engineering services professionals, ensuring high performance, technical excellence and a strong safety culture
• Take responsibility for the execution of gas supply systems, including bulk gas, purification and analytical solutions for all supplied gases
• Working closely with Sales and Business Development, contribute to achieving ambitious growth targets and expanding market opportunities
• Oversee the conceptual and detailed engineering, cost estimation and successful execution of bulk gas projects within an EPC environment
• Ensure the effective planning and management of preventive, scheduled and corrective maintenance activities for liquid bulk, analytical and purifier systems while maintaining cost efficiency
• Act as the key interface for the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with LiGaPro, managing service delivery and performance across all onsite supply facilities of Linde Electronics
• Assume responsibility for all operator obligations defined by local authorities and ensure full regulatory compliance.
  Drive CAPEX, OPEX and Operating Working Capital (OWC) performance while promoting strong cost awareness and financial discipline throughout the organization
• Monitor operational performance, asset reliability and key business metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing appropriate corrective actions
  
  

What makes you great

• Hold a degree in Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
• Bring more than eight years of experience in the industrial gases industry, including several years in a leadership role with proven success
• Drawing on your experience in complex international matrix organizations, you combine strong commercial awareness with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder environments
• Balance the management of demanding day-to-day engineering activities with the development and leadership of high-performing teams in a customer-focused environment
• Demonstrate extensive expertise in design engineering and project management for bulk gas installations
• Contribute solid experience in gas purification systems and gas analytics, enabling you to support reliable and efficient operations
• Leverage your hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of liquid bulk, purification and gas analytical systems to ensure high asset performance and reliability
• Build on a proven track record of successfully designing and executing EPC projects for bulk gas installations
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders through strong presentation, communication, intercultural and interdisciplinary skills, including engagement with customers' operational senior management
• Apply strategic thinking to develop and implement engineering and operational strategies that support organizational objectives in productivity, safety and operational excellence
• Demonstrate advanced English language skills (C1) and business-fluent German proficiency (C2)
