Stellenbeschreibung

We are Europe’s leading e-commerce company in the window and door industry, operating nine international online shops, including our two largest brands fensterversand and fenetre24. Behind our online shops stands Neuffer Fenster + Türen GmbH, founded in Stuttgart in 1872. As a technology-driven company with a strong operational backbone, we are proud of our ambitious team and always looking for talented people who would like to be part of our success story.

For the further development of our European logistics network, we are looking for a Team Lead Logistics (m/w/d) based in Stuttgart.

This is a hands-on logistics leadership role with a strong focus on European transportation, carrier management, cross-border logistics and B2C last-mile delivery. We are looking for someone who has already worked with international transportation networks in Europe and understands how to manage and improve the interaction between suppliers, freight forwarders, hubs and end-customer delivery.

You will take responsibility for improving and developing our logistics setup across several European markets, working closely with freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers and internal teams. The role requires a strong operational and commercial mindset and you should be comfortable challenging logistics partners, negotiating commercial conditions, analysing performance and developing new logistics concepts rather than simply administering existing processes.

With growing responsibility over time, the role offers a clear development path towards broader logistics leadership.

Tasks

  • Take operational and functional responsibility for European outbound and transportation logistics, and continuously develop related structures, processes, and logistics concepts
  • Lead and further develop a small logistics team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day logistics operations
  • Select, manage and develop freight forwarders, carriers and logistics partners across multiple European markets, including tenders, contract and rate negotiations and service-level management
  • Develop and optimise our European transportation network, including cross-border flows, routing, consolidation, cross-docking and hub concepts
  • Optimise our B2C and last-mile logistics for large, heavy, fragile and made-to-measure products, with a focus on delivery quality, customer experience and cost efficiency
  • Monitor and improve logistics performance based on relevant KPIs such as on-time delivery, transport damages, lead times and cost per delivery, and derive concrete improvement measures
  • Work closely with European suppliers, production partners and logistics providers to coordinate transportation flows and continuously improve operational performance
  • Develop and implement new logistics models and transformation projects rather than simply maintaining existing processes
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Business Development, Finance, Data and IT to improve and automate logistics processes

Requirements

This role requires on-site presence at our office in Stuttgart, as it involves close collaboration with our team and logistics partners and has a strong operational component.

  • Relevant academic or vocational background and several years of professional experience in logistics, transportation, fulfilment or supply chain management, ideally in an e-commerce, retail or manufacturing environment
  • Initial leadership experience or a clear motivation to take on team responsibility
  • Experience in improving or redesigning logistics structures and processes, combined with a good understanding of cross-docking, shipment consolidation, hub structures and international transportation
  • Experience in managing freight forwarders, carriers or other logistics service providers, ideally including carrier selection, tenders, rate negotiations and service-level management
  • Experience with multi-country logistics operations, including cross-border transportation, customs-related processes and market-specific delivery requirements
  • Ideally, experience in B2C last-mile logistics for large, heavy, fragile or oversized products such as windows and doors, building materials, furniture or white goods
  • Strong understanding of logistics cost structures, KPIs and performance data, with the ability to connect operational and commercial considerations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of ownership, hands-on mentality and a structured, analytical way of working
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in working with logistics partners, suppliers, internal teams and management
  • Very good English or German skills at professional level; additional European languages, especially Polish, are a plus

Benefits

  • Attractive salary above industry standards
  • Flexible working hours for a healthy work-life balance
  • A warm, collaborative work environment with an open company culture and regular team events
  • Short decision-making processes and plenty of room to bring your own ideas to life
  • Exciting responsibilities in an innovative and international work environment
  • Clear career development opportunities and a wide range of professional development options
  • Corporate Benefits with exclusive discounts from a wide range of well-known brands
  • Fresh fruit, at least one sponsored lunch per week, and our TGIF BBQ on our 300 m² rooftop terrace
  • Modern office in the heart of Stuttgart with excellent transport connections
  • Support with finding accommodation when relocating to Stuttgart
