For the development of our international logistics setup we are looking for a Team Lead Logistics (m/w/d). In this role you will shape and improve our logistics operations across multiple markets working closely with freight forwarders logistics partners and internal teams. With growing responsibility over time the role offers a clear development path towards broader logistics leadership.

Tasks

  • Operational and functional responsibility for key areas of our logistics setup including the development of new structures and processes
  • Functional leadership and development of a small logistics team
  • Selection management and development of freight forwarders carriers and logistics partners across multiple markets including tenders contract and rate negotiations
  • Development and implementation of consolidation cross-docking and hub concepts to improve efficiency across our logistics network
  • Optimisation of our B2C and last-mile logistics for large heavy and made-to-measure products including the customer delivery experience tracking and time-slot management
  • Monitoring and improving carrier performance based on relevant KPIs and service levels such as on-time delivery transport damages lead times and cost per delivery
  • Analysis and optimisation of logistics costs through improved routing consolidation carrier selection and new logistics models
  • Close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams such as Operations Business Development Finance Data and IT to improve and automate logistics processes
  • Ownership of logistics transformation and implementation projects with increasing responsibility for the design of our logistics network

Requirements

  • Relevant academic or vocational background and several years of professional experience in logistics transportation fulfilment or supply chain management ideally in an e-commerce retail or manufacturing environment
  • Initial leadership experience or a clear motivation to take on team responsibility
  • Experience in improving or redesigning logistics structures and processes combined with a good understanding of cross-docking shipment consolidation hub structures and international transportation
  • Experience in managing freight forwarders carriers or other logistics service providers ideally including carrier selection tenders rate negotiations and service-level management
  • Experience with multi-country logistics operations including cross-border transportation customs-related processes and market-specific delivery requirements
  • Ideally experience in B2C last-mile logistics for large heavy fragile or oversized products such as windows and doors building materials furniture or white goods
  • Strong understanding of logistics cost structures KPIs and performance data with the ability to connect operational and commercial considerations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset high level of ownership hands-on mentality and a structured analytical way of working
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in working with logistics partners suppliers internal teams and management
  • Very good English or German skills at professional level; additional European languages especially Polish are a plus
