THE POSITION - This is what we are all about
As Sales Manager Order Management System (OMS) (m/f/d), you will play a key role in driving the market success of our OMS solution. Your focus will be on logistics service providers and companies with complex fulfillment operations looking to make their order and inventory processes more transparent, efficient, and scalable. This role is not about selling software features. It is about understanding our customers' operational challenges, analyzing their order and fulfillment processes, and translating those challenges into solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will manage complex sales processes from initial engagement and discovery through workshops, presentations, demos, commercial negotiations, and closing. At the same time, you will bring market insights back into the organization and actively contribute to our positioning, go-to-market strategy, and product development.
THE TASKS - You make a difference
- Drive the sales of our OMS solution and develop new customers and business opportunities, particularly within the 3PL, fulfillment, and supply chain market.
- Analyze how orders, inventory, and fulfillment processes flow through customer organizations and identify the operational challenges behind them.
- Uncover manual processes, visibility gaps, and automation potential and translate them into compelling OMS solution approaches.
- Build convincing business cases that demonstrate measurable value, such as reduced manual effort, improved order and inventory visibility, better SLA performance, faster customer onboarding, and greater scalability.
- Manage complex enterprise sales cycles involving stakeholders across Operations, Logistics, IT, Customer Service, Supply Chain Management, and C-level.
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and customer presentations and demonstrate our solution together with Product Management and PreSales.
- Show customers how they can evolve from Order & Inventory Visibility toward intelligent Fulfillment Decisioning and Orchestration, including customer-specific rules, priorities, SLAs, and inventory-based decisions.
- Position innovative capabilities such as EPG AURA and natural-language-based orchestration rules in a credible, customer-focused, and value-driven way.
- Guide PoCs, RFPs, procurement processes, and commercial negotiations through to successful contract closure.
- Work closely with Product Management to translate customer feedback into structured market insights and contribute to product positioning, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market strategy.
- Help shape and continuously improve our sales approach while contributing to the development and scaling of a growing market.
THE REQUIREMENTS - What makes you successful
- Several years of experience in B2B sales of complex software or SaaS solutions, ideally within an enterprise environment.
- A strong track record of managing longer sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, discovery phases, PoCs, procurement processes, and commercial negotiations.
- Solid understanding of logistics, 3PL, and fulfillment processes, including multi-client operations, warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, SLAs, cut-off times, and customer-specific processes.
- Experience with solutions in the areas of OMS, WMS, TMS, ERP, commerce, or Supply Chain Execution. Direct OMS experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Strong capabilities in consultative and solution selling, with the ability to translate operational challenges into compelling solutions and business cases.
- A good understanding of complex business processes and the ability to identify visibility gaps, manual decision points, and opportunities for automation and orchestration.
- A customer-centric perspective on OMS value – understanding how logistics service providers can create additional value for their own customers through improved order visibility, inventory visibility, status information, and fulfillment transparency.
- Sufficient technical understanding to confidently discuss APIs, EDI, ERP/WMS/TMS integrations, SaaS architectures, and system-agnostic integration approaches without needing to be a Solution Architect.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and demo skills, with the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand and relevant to the customer.
- Confidence in engaging with both operational stakeholders and senior executives and adapting the value proposition to different audiences.
- Excellent English communication skills and experience working with international customers and stakeholders. Additional languages are an advantage.
