Systems Engineer - System Analysis & Functional Design – Land Systems (m/f/d)

As a key player in the field of defense land systems, you translate complex mission requirements into highly available, mission-critical vehicle functions, thereby shaping the mobility and operational capability of modern defense platforms from the ground up.

Your tasks

• Analysis and decomposition of complex system requirements for defining robust vehicle functions with a focus on mobility and specialization
• Definition of the system context, development of operational concepts (CONOPS) and modeling of requirements-compliant use cases
• End-to-end modeling of function chains, system behavior and interfaces within the framework of model-based system design
• Ensuring seamless traceability between system requirements, functional architecture, and the overall logical system.
• Integration and derivation of security and protection requirements from the domains of system safety and cybersecurity into functional analysis
• Technical review, maturity level tracking and release of function-oriented system specifications and technical documentation

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in engineering or natural sciences (e.g. electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, mechatronics, systems engineering or similar)
• Solid practical experience in systems engineering, model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and requirements engineering of complete mechatronic systems
• Demonstrable experience in the structured decomposition of system functions
• User knowledge of SysML modeling, ideally with Cameo Systems Modeler or comparable modeling tools.
• Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of complex system architectures
• Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally within the scope of the project
