About the role

As an SAP Lead Consultant Finance, you will actively shape future-ready transformation projects and guide our customers as they move towards modern ERP landscapes, particularly through SAP S/4HANA migrations and optimisation. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic consulting and process optimisation: Advise customers on developing their finance processes, analyse complex requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Solution architecture and implementation: Own the solution design and the planning and delivery of end-to-end SAP Finance solutions, particularly in SAP FI/CO. Take modern technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP Business AI and SAP Joule into account.
• Functional leadership and project ownership: Provide functional leadership for SAP Finance projects, coordinate interdisciplinary teams and take responsibility for successful delivery through go-live.
• Interface and integration management: Oversee the integration of SAP Finance processes with adjacent SAP modules and system landscapes, ensuring end-to-end processes.
• Customer and stakeholder management: Advise business and executive stakeholders, facilitate workshops, present solution concepts to management and build long-term customer relationships.
• Presales and bid management: Support prospective customers in developing suitable SAP Finance solutions, prepare solution concepts and proposals, and actively contribute to winning new projects.
• Coaching and knowledge transfer: Support the professional development of consultants, share your expertise and promote best practices and innovative solutions.

Your profile

• Extensive SAP Finance expertise: Several years of in-depth SAP consulting experience, with a focus on SAP FI/CO, and strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance. You have broad experience designing, implementing and optimising complex finance processes.
• Solution design and system architecture: Solid experience with SAP customising and with developing and evaluating end-to-end SAP Finance solution architectures. You are also well versed in modern SAP technologies such as SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA.
• Functional leadership: Proven experience leading project teams, coordinating complex workstreams and guiding and developing consultants. You enjoy taking responsibility and know how to lead teams towards shared goals.
• Process and consulting expertise: Strong skills in analysing, harmonising and optimising finance and controlling processes. You are proficient in requirements engineering and can translate complex business needs into sustainable SAP solutions.
• Project management and methodologies: Several years of experience leading or managing SAP implementation and transformation projects. You are familiar with both traditional and agile project methods, such as Scrum, and can maintain oversight even in complex projects.
• Communication and stakeholder skills: Excellent consulting and presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate as an equal with business teams, IT leaders and management. You bring strong analytical thinking, initiative and a clear focus on solutions.
• Languages: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

Additional qualifications

• SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional
• Certification in agile project management methods, such as Professional Scrum Master, SAFe or PMI
• Knowledge of data migration and system integration, such as SAP CPI, IDoc or OData
