Looking for a Business Development Manager / Director to join an expanding team, to support the company's growth and success by creating new business opportunities!

- Small-midsize CRO
- Wide range of services across early to late phases.
- Therapy Area : Oncology, Dermatology, Neurology.
Job Duties
- Take charge of initiating, coordinating, developing, and implementing strategic plans, sales strategies, and annual forecasts within specified territories or accounts.
- Oversee all efforts aimed at client development and retention, encompassing prospecting, cold calling, and in-person sales calls.
- Establish a consistent account contact schedule in line with the overarching strategy.
- Maintain positive and effective client relationships.
- Generate business opportunities through industry relationships and networks.
- Proactively address sponsor issues with operational colleagues.
- Represent and advocate for Business Development in company meetings.
Responsibilities
- Achieve yearly sales targets and objectives.
- Formulate business development strategies and ensure client retention within assigned sales territory.
- Coordinate all tasks assigned to the Business Development Department.
- Provide timely and efficient reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of Business Development experience in the life science industry, preferably within CRO.
- The ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent oral and written skills in English and German.
- Outstanding organisational, planning, and multitasking skills with an entrepreneurship mindset.
