Network Engineer / Netzwerktechniker Munich / WFH to €60,000
Opportunity for a skilled Network Engineer with fluent German and English language skills to progress your career at a hugely successful European eCommerce with a customer base of over 7 million.
As a Network Engineer / Netzwerktechniker, you will join a talented team responsible for delivering robust and scalable infrastructure solutions, where you will use your expertise in networking and server environments to ensure that global operations run smoothly and efficiently.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the network, server and storage infrastructure on a global scale.
Some of your other key responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining firewalls and switches, managing virtual server environments, monitoring key services and addresses alerts efficiently, and managing patching and security vulnerabilities.
Location / Work from Home :
There's a hybrid work from home policy with one to two days a week in the Munich office.
Requirements :
- You are a talented Network Engineer / Netzwerktechniker with extensive knowledge of network infrastructure including firewalls, switching and WiFi
- You have a good understanding of Storage Area Networks
- You have experience of managing and maintaining highly available environments
- You have good knowledge of Windows or Linux implementation, configuration, and maintenance
- You have a good knowledge of Fortinet products
- You have some experience with AWS cloud services
- Ideally you will have some experience with NetApp and Veeam
- You have fluent German and English language skills
