Job : Warehouse Operator
Location : Großbeeren, Germany
Department : Clinical warehouse
Supervisor : Head of clinical warehouse
Management responsibility (for employees) : none
Manages the raw material warehouse and clinical trial material from goods receipt to material issue in compliance with quality, deadline, and economic specifications.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Receipt, inspection, and immediate storage of deliveries of investigational medicinal products at the designated storage location under the specified temperature requirements in accordance with strict specifications.
- Recording and system-related stock management of incoming goods in the ERP system and labelling of pallets
- Coordinate the timely shipment of all clinical materials to the trial sites, including logistical planning and accurate scheduling of receipt at destination including preparation of shipping documents both nationally and internationally.
- Arranging urgent consignments and consignments requiring special handling, such as investigational medicinal products, with premium couriers.
- Responsible for investigating and isolating any material or product found to have a quality problem until Quality Assurance (QA) can identify corrective actions.
- Execute proper documentation to support all material management responsibilities.
PREREQUISITES :
- Initial work experience in the warehouse / logistics / quality control sector, although career changers are also welcome;
- Experience in pharmaceutical packaging / labelling, preferably in clinical care is an advantage;
- Precision and high attention to detail in the execution of packaging operations and documentation
- Ability to work in a team and reliability;
- Good knowledge of English is desirable in order to be able to read, understand and edit documents; German is an added plus
- Motivation and willingness to learn
- Confident handling of PC, MS Office and ERP systems
