Principal Engineer for Analog Defect Simulation Systems (f/m/div)

As part of our "Verification and Validation" department, you will be responsible for the further development, maintenance and support of our analog and mixed-signal design flow.

In your new role you will :
- Support, maintain and further improve Infineon’s IC design methodology with focus on analog defect simulation and analog verification methodology
- Responsible for enabling Infineon Business Lines to perform Analog Defect Simulations in compliance with the IEEE P2427 standard
- Proactively consult chip design projects to ensure proper and efficient usage of working environment, software tools and related methodology
- Collect application specific requirements to the design environment and provide fast solutions (e.g. hot fixes)
- Work closely with internal and external software tools and methodology providers on improving existing and developing new solutions
- Create and maintain the necessary specification and documentation
- Carry out trainings for the design flow and tool users
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have :
- A PhD or Master of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of professional experience in the area of Analog / Mixed-Signal design and verification
- Knowledge in Design for Test, Layout, pre-silicon verification and testibilit y and insights in semiconductor product manufacturing would be a plus
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Editor and circuit simulators such as XA, Spectre, HSpice, Eldo
- Good software development skills (C, Python, tcl, etc.) in a Unix / Linux environment
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Leadership and good communication skills, team player
- Fluent English skills; German is a plus
