Finance ManagerThis team oversees our asset management legal entities in Munich and are responsible for driving effective finance controllership as well as being involved in all facets of the Group finance function within the Macquarie Asset Management business.

What role will you play?
In this role, you will be part of a global network with opportunities to build connections across different businesses, regions, and offices managing across regulatory requirements.
Along with financial & legal entity control your remit will include oversight of tax matters including VAT and transfer pricing, ensuring that the policies and arrangements are in place.
There will also be opportunities to collaborate and liaise with external auditors to manage audit deliverables, ensuring the integrity andpleteness of financial records, as well aspliance with control & accounting standards.
What you offer
- A formal accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant or equivalent is preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in a financial services or banking organisation & the ability to manage funds products.
- German GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) preferred.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement skills, and control / risk awareness will be required for you to be successful in this role.
- Possess strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, a high level of accuracy with a right first-time approach and strong attention to detail with the ability to re-assess / re-engineer work processes.
